Trevor Lloyd Morgan

b. 1969 -

Trevor Lloyd Morgan is an Australian artist living and working in Berlin, Germany since 2004. In his art practice he adapts image-based media and technologies to create works that explore the embodied image, dis/location, space and place in the everyday. These themes reflect his experience as an immigrant, expatriate and continuous traveller, with an itinerant childhood growing up within Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United States. 

Morgan became an artist after working for over a decade as a commercial photographer and digital imaging specialist. In 2014, Morgan completed his PhD, an Art Practice Based Research Project at RMIT University, Melbourne Australia. Before this he attended New York University’s MA Studio Program, receiving his MFA (Photography) also from RMIT University, 2003.
